Jack, many thanks for this excellent information.  I was running various
things in the background, no cluster but lots of other stuff that I can
stop when needed.  Interesting you mentioned running in stereo.  Before the
contest I thought about trying the MultRX but assumed two signals arriving
at the same time would confuse MMTTY.  It never occurred to me to try TWO
separate N1MM/MMTTY incidences. That might be real cool!  I'll remember
your 150 Hz trick too.

I am a long time MMTTY user but have not used it much the last year or two.
 I was surprised how well it decoded weak signals .  I wondered if it was
down to some of the tweaking Dave AA6YQ has made to Mako's  original coding
in the past year , but maybe what I was noticing how well a Flex does with
narrow filter setting.
