The Flex 3000 has a relay build into it.  It can key 250VAC at 2 amps.
 There is no need for an ARB 704.  In fact, the relay in the radio is
likely better than the one in the ARB704.

Just to be clear.  In most Amps  all you do to put an Amp into transmit is
to connect the PTT line from the Amp to ground.   Very simple.

We often connect a Henry 2K Classic directly to the Flex 3000 without any
interface.  Just the RCA to RCA PTT cable from the radio.  Adding another
relay just inserts more failure points and more noise.  :)

Those that do all this doom and gloom on amp keying are not clearly
understanding the technology.
