There is definetly a difference between CWL and CWU mode. Tune the SDR to 14.020 and a separate receiver to the same frequency. Send some cw in CWU and then CWL without changing the separate receiver settings. You will notice a significant difference in tone. They should be the same as in version 1.3.2. Next, set the SDR VFO B to the same as VFO A. Now set the split function and send some cw on both CWU and CWL. They have the same tone in the separate receiver. I have made several dx contacts too but I wondered why is was getting so difficult. Usually there has been no problem working dx on cw.

Same problem here with version 1.3.4. In version 1.3.2 both cwl and cwu exhibit the same characterstics.

I usually transmit with XIT on. I haven't noticed any obvious problems (I've worked some DX, so I can't believe I'm 600 Hz off).

Can anyone confirm it is OK with XIT? I need to know before the WPX contest :-)
