Joe,

I agree with you completely about the location of the VFO Lock button.  It
really needs to be incorporated near the actual VFO.  However, despite my
many attempts, I was unable to get it in or near the VFO boxes without
either obscuring some part of the frequency/step readout or preventing
something like the mouse wheel functionality from working.  This will be
addressed when we redesign the front console.

Finally, the VFO lock button just seems out of place hanging all alone above
the time indicators. Is a more logical place not in the VFO button section
of the console, or possibly even better, next to the VFO-A display itself? I
can see that from a point of console real estate there may not be room for
either of these suggestions, but still.
