Mike I did not dare to carry this test. To my great embarrasment, when I click START of the audio balance test, I have the following message : Is the SDR-1000 hardware powered off ? Failure to turn off the hardware power could result in damage to the unit while running this test. José - F5JD Mike, I have to agree with Dale, there must have been something wrong. And the key is to monitor yourself in another receiver to verify this. What usually happens (and I have had this happen) is that the connections to the rear of the radio do not make good contact and both the left and right channels are not getting back to the radio correctly. Be sure that you can hear both left and right channels in the "audio balance test" under the "Test" tab. You should hear both channels separately. Dudley WA5QPZ |
