Mike,
One thing to watch out for is that in the past, the console would never maintain my non standard parallel port setting when upgrading to a new version and loading in a previous database - it would instead use the default parallel port address. Eric had added my non standard address (BC00) to the drop down list and then it worked, so I haven't had to worry about it - but since yours isn't
on the list you will probably see this problem in the future.

Mike,

You should be able to just type the address into the combobox and it should
work. Let me know if it doesn't.

Subject: [Flexradio] Parallel Port Address

Hi all, Im pretty sure I blew my Parallell port on my Motherboard, so I
added a PCI to Parallel card today to the system. However, the card sets
and grabs address that are not legacy vintage, i.e. DF38-DF3F, which is not
an address availble in the SDR software setup menu.

Because of this I cant get the SDR-1000 console to respond to the parallel
port, and XP wont let me change the address range.

Is there way to add choices for the I/O address range within the SDR-1000
console setup?

Thanks!
