You may have more than one problem here.  First of all, it is clear that
your speakers do not present a high impedance load.  I have one set of cheap
"amplified" speakers that will do the same thing when you turn up the
volume.  If you are using a single channel output like the Extigy, the TX
and speaker audio paths are in parallel.  By the way, the Delta 44
eliminates this potential problem by separating the speaker and TX drive
signals.

Other than the speaker loading, this has to be some kind of setup issue
because the calibration process confirms with certainty that the hardware is
working properly.  Make sure the line out cable is plugged in solidly on
both ends.  If it is not, you will loose 75% of your power.  That would be
about 25W output.  You will also produce a DSB signal under that condition.
