Been out of it for a while. Maybe I'm being duped, but what the heck I s a "Huff'n'Puff"? !!!
It is a means of gently stabilizing an oscillator. It requires the oscillator to be reasonably stable already. There are several examples of this sort of circuit, pioneered by PA0KSB back in the early 1970's.
