Just a thought; what about a keystroke combination that would jump the frequency to the nearest 000?
For example, the display might read 7.225341 and after the keystroke combination it would be adjusted to 7.225000. Since so many hams like to "line up the zeros", if you find a sideband station you can click the yellow cross hairs to get close, then hit the key and probably be right on their frequency.
