The software could easily handle diversity reception, but you'd need to
provide a separate, independent RF path and A/D conversion input pair
for each channel. In short, another whole SDR1K hardware box.

The Orion presently offers this, as does some of the
10K boxes. Diversity in the Orion however relies on a
very good RX and a second poorer quatily RX, where
RX's of similiar quality would be desireable.
