I just have one comment regarding the possible SDR-1000 filter changes. I
use the full 10khz bandwidth quite often for AM broadcast band reception and
I hope that however it might be controlled, that it never goes away.

In defense of the filter width control: works fine for CW and Digi
modes. The original implementation of that slider was visually much wider
than it is now. That makes it's use for wideband modes pretty limited
(putting it nicely)
Now that we have DigU and DigL modes, perhaps someone could try out
changing the behavior of the current width control - for USB/LSB/SAM etc
go
to some sort of linear scale, and for DigX and CWX go with the current
logarithmic behavior.
I don't anticipate playing with code in this area until the current beta
closes out the new rearchitected tree gets going.
