Hi all,
I actually didn´t see this signal from here, but I noticed from some time ago (in fact since I got the SDR-1000) a lot of signals which matches the description.  They look like DRM but the bandwith is narrower.
I found it mostly on marine bands, but they are anywere in HF.  I do quite SW listening and and you learn a lot about all those strange sounding signals that you were used just to listen once you see it.   The SDR 1000 is my first rcv with panoramic display and I am an enthusiastic fan of it.
Being "utility stations" it can be found anywere including broadcast bands, but I never noticed one in any ham band.

I am curious about the findings you can make in the wav files.

Hi Richard,

Record the .wav file using the Pre-Processed Audio
option.

Upload the resulting wav file to the HamSDR website by
going to the home page
http://www.hamsdr.com/Home.aspx. Log-in and select My
Account => Upload Files. On the next page select
Public Directory and click the Upload a file button.
Then follow the directions.

The .wav files can become fairly large very quickly so
2 to 3 minutes is probably the optimum length for
recording.

Fred,

Would you or Richard be able to upload a short (two

or

three minute) wave file of the signal to WA8SRA's
www.hamsdr.com website?

BTW, this website is becoming an outstanding source

of

information for the SDR-1000 and SoftRock

communities.

Thanks, Dale.

  Hi All,

Anyone know what the story is on the

2.5khz

signal on 7073? Been on there for quite awhile

this

evening, about s7 peak here in Albq. NM. Looks

like

amatuer DRM, covers the space normally used by
PSK31. . . Digtrx does not seem to recognize

it,

but I don't know what parameters to set.
