What soundcard are you using? I had this happen when using a Delta 44
and the issue was that some other windows program changed the variable
signal levels to a value that the SDR didn't like. P14 does an auto set
of the signal levels for the Firebox and Delta 44.

Subject: [Flexradio] LOW POWER OUTPUT

I had a strange one this morning...

While operating this morning on 40 M I noticed the power output drop
from
the normal 80-90 watts to about 10 watts... (Power indicated on peek
reading
digital watt meter and Kenwood SM-220 station monitor - O-scope).
Situation
was the same whether in the 100% tune mode or 100% SSB mode. No
changes were
made to audio settings... they were all same as when I started.

Restarted computer, changed to version p12 ... no change.

Switched SDR software back to version p14. Put dummy load on SDR and
measured power out on 20 M... everything seemed normal.

While dummy load attached, ran PA Calibration... setting for 40 M not
39.9
and power output came up to normal. However, I'm concerned by the
lower
number calibration settings for 40 M.... 40 M was about 48.5 it is now
39.9.

Everything operating normal after calibration with the exception of the
PA
Calibration numbers. I haven't opened the SDR black box yet to look for

toasted parts on the PA filter board yet.

Any ideas?
