Charles,

The memory mode simply attempts to use your most recent settings at (or
near) that same frequency rather than doing a full tune. This usually
ends up being faster by a factor of 2-3.  If there has not been a tune
on a near frequency, it simply does a full tune anyways, so I would
recommend using Memory mode unless you change antennas quite a bit.
