I did a side by side using VAC with DREAM and wide DRM (the official for pay software). The DREAM receiver is <<MUCH>> better and the price is right.

I was listening to Deutsche Welle on 3995 kHz and even with that tough signal environment, the DREAM receiver got almost all frames while DRM dropped quite a few.

Might as well use free. I bought DRM way back when and there was no free version.

I use the Dream DRM decoder ( http://drm.sourceforge.net/ ). They do not distribute in binary form due to some potential patent issues. However, a binary for Windows can be found at: http://www.rarewares.org/aac.html

I would like to add DRM to my SWL listening. Can someone tell me which
specific software is required, where to install, & any operating
parameters to use.

The software that I have found said that it was customized for WinRadio.
Thanks for the help. I am using Ver 1.4.4
