OK,my question:

While editing(checking if still valid)an extensive bookmarks list,I came
upon N9VV site and saw an article by K2WS regarding a very stable
oscillator he built on a perf board for use with SDR-1000 but BLILEY
refuses to sell the oscillator considering it proprietary, apparently to
K2WS,from whom I have been unable to obtain further info.I may very well
not..at all..need the described stability but I don't truly...need..so
called "atomic clock"wrist watch either!

Has anyone read the article and..pursued this?

So you asked for a quote for a Bliley 535-471229-001?

have you looked at Bliley's off the shelf inventory?

All those N26 series oscillators are probably in the ballpark.

What sort of stability and/or close in phase noise do you need?

0.03 ppm (3E-8, 30 ppb) over -20 to +70 with -100dBc/Hz at 10 Hz is probably available from other oscillator suppliers as well. The phase noise spec isn't all that aggressive, but if you could tolerate a bit looser frequency spec (or, you don't need that wide a temperature range), you can probably save a fair amount.

for instance, I would imagine that one can get an oscillator from Wenzel http://www.wenzel.com/catalog.html that has that sort of performance for <$200. I bought a few Streamline 10MHz oscillators last year for about $250 each, but they have even better performance than that Bliley unit (-125 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz and 0.02ppm frequency over the temp range)

A search of Ebay will also usually turn up suitable oscillators (although almost always at 10 MHz, e.g. the HP 10811).. There's someone out there now selling Isotemp oscillators for $75. The same guy (or gal) is selling a parts kit with a GPS receiver to discipline it. there's also someone selling RFE 10811A OCXOs, but I don't know that I'd pay $100 for a used oscillator AS IS, when I could get a brand new one with a warranty for twice that.
