Well gang,
This morning I downloaded beta 19 again and now all compiles are back
to normal, both in Release and in Debug. I went through the same steps
yesterday and could not get the Debug to work and Release would not end up
starting the console after compiling. Anyway now we are full go and both
Release and Debug start the console at the end of compiling. If I follow
Bill (KD5TFD)'s suggestion, I can now go fix antennas. Hi Hi (I think my
Visual Studio 2003 just needed some sleep time)

Well gang,
I guess I have found that in Release the version 19 will build, and
compile a workable program. How ever I have to go into the Bin/Release
file and double click the executable to bring up the console. With the
prior versions I was able to just sit back and when the compiler was done,
the console whould come up. Reason still is not clear.

I tried all the suggestions and still no go. When I compile (build)
beta 19 in Release, It seems all ok and indicates that I have 7
succeeded, 0
failed and 0 skipped. However when I tell it to "Start without
debugging",
it does the build, and then when the program should execute, a window
called
"Active X Control Test Container" comes up. If I close this window, the
computer just sits there, with no way to start the program. So what now?
