YES, this is a hint.

Dan has recommended Esvn as a tool like Tortoise for Linux. It does appear to be close. For those following the Ubunto path, using synaptic (not sure which repository since I use them all) search for, download, and install Esvn to try it out.

There is one bug. When adding an active svn directory to a new workspace, you will need to add a SPACE at the end of the directory. Somebody went -1 on their strlen. It chops off the last character in the pathname! Just add a space at the end of the name and you will be fine.
