Stan, I run can 1,500 watts with the SDR and an amplifier and tuner with open wire feed line. You just have to make sure the antennas are balanced, the whole rig, including the computer, grounded to the same common good low impedance ground point and experiment with clamp on ferrites. Hi gang. Just tried to run the SDR with some power (1KW or so) and got lots of feedback through the PC speakers. I then tried it with headphones.....not as bad but still there. So...anyone else have RF issues? What is a good speaker(s) to use with the rig? I am using the FireBox by the way. I know it says to use amplified speakers in the manual, but it seems to me that amplified speaker would pick up more RF????
