Rob The board will be about 10 to 12 dollars shipped, the parts about $25 depending on how many buss connectors are connected. It is designed to be powered by an ATX computer supply but will need a 10 ohm x 10 watt load resistor on the supply unless you use the supply Chris used. I don't offhand remember the price of that DC to DC ATX supply, but it runs off 12 volts and does not need a load resistor. There is a connector for a mult voltage bench supply type also.
Parts and assembly can be found here, with assembly instructions. All parts are readily available and are sourced in a BOM for both Germany and USA. The BOM is cut and paste for the order.
