Apparently the Cypress USB driver does not fully support power
management functions. When the computer comes out of standby we have
to reset the driver, and consequently the application software
(PowerSDR) needs to reacquire the driver "handle" before it can
continue using the USB interface.

It should not be too difficult to make this process fully automatic,
but no one has got round to it yet. On the other hand, there has been
a semi-official recommendation to completely avoid computer
standby/hibernation when PowerSDR is running.
