The only spurs I find in the passband on my SDR-1000 are "travelling" spurs
that slowwwly migrate up and down in frequency and through the passband. These
create a rising or falling get, and are very annoying when they occur.
Some are as strong as -90 dB.

I understand they are related to a DC-DC converter. I'll probably send my
SDR-1000 back to Flex some time for a checkout, if I can bear to part with this
otherwise great rig!

Subject: Re: [Flexradio] Spurs and Picket Fences

As a follow up.
I did a short count of audible birdies on 10m with the SDR1000 receiver
terminated in a dummy load. (BTW 10M is the IF for most of my
transverters.)
A scan from 28.000 to 28.250MHz netted over 40 birdies. These are audible.
I only counted the ones that were 20dB above the noise floor.
My TS850S that I am currently using for my transverters does not have a
single birdy in this spectrum.
Is this normal for the SDR1000?
