Ref: question on using Quadra Amp with SDR-1000 I have been using SDR-1000 with my Quadra for about a year with no problems. When selecting bands (RF sense) I use about 30 watts in cw mode and key the amp and press the F SET button to get proper band.
Works like a charm and doesn't take much more than 30 or 40 watts to take Quadra to 1200 watts. No ALC used.
