Tim; I think you get the prize for the record speed in which you posted a fix! I'll bet I looked at that Resources Tab on those ports twenty times tonight without seeing the magic 0378, so I got confused about where to look. I now see that I was looking at the COM1 port address not the LPT1 port address, hence my confusion.
(Unfortunately, that's not the stupidest thing I've done today (don't ask)) Anyway, it works beautifully now and I'm a happy camper. (My port addresses are DE88 and DE98) Many, many thanks, and 73s Ken WR5H P.S.
