Folks,
The Poor Man's UCB is finally ready and available as a complete and
assembled board. The first set of boards produced by ExpressPCB have
arrived, been assembled and tested. The PMUCB is a small, simple 3
function board, and plugs directly into the SDR-100 X-2 connector. The
board includes a 16 pin expansion connector to permit a future relay board
to be plugged into it and controlled via the 6 address lines available via
the X-2 connector on the SDR-1000.
The functions of the current PMUCB board;
(1) An RCA input jack input from an external PTT hand or foot switch.
(2) An RCA jack input from an external switch or 2nd transceiver
which mutes the SDR-1000.
(3) An RCA output jack utilizing an optically-isolated FET
switching IC to key a Linear Amplifier.
