For what it is worth, the edge meter is not freezing up here, never had that freeze happen, in either meter configuration. In xmit or receive, and at 90-100 watts CW. Using SVN 701 on a Pentium 4, 3.1 ghz and 1 gig ram.
It has been svn 701 longer than usual it seems, is SVN the latest? Or do I have an issue with my svn updates. Exiting out of program and then reloading, gets it working agn. Has happened about 4 or 5 times. My set up: software version is 1.6.3. Process priority = above normal. AMD 64x2 w/ 2 gig memory. USB connection. Delta 44 snd card. Keying CW via the comm port. Running 25 watts. If no one else notices this I will chalk it up to RFI Never had the problem when using the "original" S meter.
