(Had that once with a 10 meter transmitter, good on dummy. started oscilating when the SWR was very temporary > 1.5, had to disconnect the power to stop it oscillating.....) It woul be helpfull to tune with a scope and a counter connected to the arial signal (not directly but via a small condensor or so) to see if this idea cuts any grass. What does the SDR on other antennas, what on dummy. I do not know if a souncard can make these difficulties. I am very nearly ready to sell the SDR and move on. It has driven me crazy. I have sent it to Austin twice, but they can't seem to find anything wrong with it.
