Many thanks to all those who responded to me directly with regards the
above topic
Last evening I installed SVN 879
Usually after installing a new SVN, I import the Database when prompted.
With this SVN, I decided not to import the database, ran through the
initial setup and launched PowerSDR. Once the SDR had run for a while I
decided to try the RX Image Calibration (I use a XG1 for this , as well
as the S Meter Cal)
Whilst the Cal Routine was running I opened up the DSP Setup Menu, and
the Image Reject sub-menu. This way I monitored with great interest the
digits changing in the Phase and Gain Boxes
Here it comes, the Phase clocked-out at 4.00, and the Gain at -3.55,
which is a whole lot better than I was seeing in the past
So all seems to be to my liking now, not that I fully understand wot the
difference might be. Intuitively, the closer to 0 seems to make more
sense to me. The further these figures are from 0, leads me to believe
that there was some sort of problem

Thanks again for all the help, and interesting posting
