At what store? >See? Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. That kind of monopolistic crap is the >reason I detest Microsoft! While I am no big fan of market domination, Microsoft is hardly unique here. If you go to your run of the mill big box store, you will see that there tends only to be one kind of any particular type of commodity. This is because the big box stores like to buy from a limited number of suppliers, and they also like to get the various cooperative marketing funds that come along with a "we feature exclusively brand X" kind of strategy. Consider, for instance, your local fast food outlet (especially the independents). Surely you have noticed that they tend to stock only Coke or Pepsi products, but not both. That's because if they agree to serve only one kind, the bottling company will provide a lot of the equipment and materials for free. _______________________________________________ FlexRadio mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archive Link: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ FlexRadio Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ FlexRadio Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/
