This post may well be lost in the passion of the SDR-5000 but I'll throw
it out here anyway!

Dave W9AD and I, with the help of Jerry Flanders W4UK and John W8TPH
have successfully married the Flex SDR-1000 and the Yaesu Quadra
amplifier. The Quadra will follow the SDR when changing bands like a
hound on a scent! It's only necessary to feed the Quadra data lines with
the X2 lines and check the proper boxes on the setup screen. The lines
need to be pulled up to 5 volts (on the X2 connector) with 4.7K
resistors. Dave is now busy flipping through the bands just to see the
Quadra blink! We'll get him back on the air soon.
