Hi guys To make room for the new 5000a (as well as to be fair to this wonderful rig so someone will enjoy it regularly) I am offering my fully loaded SDR1000 system for sale at over a 30% discount of what I have in it, plus $175 of freebies!
The details: I have a February 2006 SDR1000 that includes the 100w power amplifier and the ATU. I paid $1709 for this wonderful rig. I have installed Alan Davis' (K2WS) 40Mhz OCXO fully assembled board in the case to provide rock solid frequency stability (it works very well, worth the $395 it cost) I am using the Edirol FA-66 firewire soundcard which was purchased new in January for $279.00 This is a $2383 investment that I am selling for $1650 + shipping. As a bonus I will included the appropriate cables that incorporate Radio Shack's isolation transformers, which do a wonderful job of eliminating the 11kHz "hump". I will also include M0ZAZ's Poor Man's UCB . The cabinet has some scratching on the top but its not obnoxious. Otherwise everything is in tip-top shape from a non-smoking home.
