Hi

Need help! This problem (BUG) has been reported a long time ago with no
result to date.

The CQWW RTTY is almost upon us. I still can not use the zerobeat
function
with POWERSDR.

Setup is as follows: 1) Set Hardware Config->Click Tune offset to
2125 Hz
                                 2) Configure a filter passband to -2450, -1950
for a 500 Hz bandwidth
centered on the 2125 Hz, 170 Hz shift center frequency.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------

In operation mouse clicking on the "MARK" signal in the panadaptor peak
puts the signal very close to the desired 2125 Hz location. This is good,
but not enough. 0-Beating should put the signal right on the desired 2125
Hz. It does not!! It places the signal about -137 HZ below the desired
-2125Hz. WHY??

If I compile the code and change the ZeroBeat function for DIGL by
adding
+137Hz, it then works the way we RTTY operators need and want. Why is this
needed.

Hitting the ZeroBeat button or ALT-Z moves the "MARK" signal close
enough
for good demodulation with MMTTY, MixW, MMVARI. This is good but a kludge.

If the bandwidth is set to -2350Hz, -2050Hz,for a 300Hz bandwidth, the
code change, shown above, above does not work properly. Why??

The question on the table is: What produces an offset when zerobeating
in
DIGL that differs from the value set is Hardwar config->options->Click tune
Offset?

        Can this be repaired?

        de Jerry NO2T
