I believe that there is a more fundamental reason why the E-MU 1212M does not work with the SDR-1000. It has to to with a delay in the I/Q channels. If the Power SDR software included an !/Q sample correction option, I believe that this sound card could work. It certainly has great specs. This was proposed as a feature request.
This card has been successfully used by Mike, KF4BQ, with a modified version of the PowerSDR software. He found a significant improvement in noise floor with the EMU-1212M card compared to the EMU-0202, and the FA-66. The noise floor was 10.5db better than the FA-66. Anyone interested in these results, can view them in the Yahoo Softrock group. 73 Craig, KC2LFI -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
