For the cheapskates out there (sri, that was a joke), Microsoft is sponsoring "Installfests" in various locations in conjunction with local dotnet clubs where they hand out the 90 trial of the professional version of VS2008 along with a link and code that will get you a free version of the pro version via snail mail. Of course, you listen to abt 30 minutes of sales pitch (and it can take an hour to install VS2008 pro even on a fast machine, but it looks really nice. Just the javascript capabilities alone make it very interesting.
