Hi Ross,
The difference is 14,178.8 - 14,160.8 = 18.0 kHz,
The IF of the SDR is 9.0 kHz
What you notised is the irror image frequency.
Other flexers have already given you possible solutions

BTW Older PowerSDR versions used an IF of 11kHz or so.

Onderwerp: [Flexradio] A dual signal question

I have just been listening on 20m with the SDR100 and I have an interesting
problem.
I was listening on USB on 14160.800 to an VK station and a W6.
I tuned up the band and lo and behold 2 stations talking on LSB on 14178.800.
The same 2 stations!!!!. It seems beyond coincidence that they would both
transmit spurious signals.
Checking with another rig, on a separate beam antenna. The signal on 14160 was
perfectly readable but nothing on 14178.

So what causes the SDR1000 to have an incorrect signal and how do I fix it?
this was with 1.10.3 and also on K6JCA's latest version.

Regards
Ross
