Thanks for the comments about image calibration, it was one thing I had not redone.
For the last couple of evenings down here in Auckland I am copying a signal that covers from approx 14.090 to 14.104, it occurs every 30 seconds and last about 1-2 seconds. Strength over 9. It is very broad, and at times sounds as though it is pulsing. Last night it started about 0600UTC and finally finished about 0830 UTC. Could it be our old friend the Over the Horizon radar back again?? It certainly makes the waterfall on the K6JCA software turn a very bright orange.. Sorry this is off the normal SDR questions but it is interesting (at least to me).
