I am using the 5000A and I inserted the key into the key jack of the 5000A. It is a stereo 1/4" for the iambic key. The problem I am experiencing is in iambic mode it is very erratic to the point it is unusable. Per the manual I have primary set to 5000, secondary set to cat, ptt set to dtr, and key line set to rts. Options are iambic and high res and break in enabled. All other options are set per the manual including buffer size - 1024 - and sample rate - 96000.
