I have a Core 2 Duo machine running XP and I see no different in performance if 
PowerSDR is configured to run only on one core.  If you get up to 4 and 8 way 
core CPUs, context switching may impart some additional latency, but I only 
have two cores to work with.  Other people's mileage may vary.
