Since the development team move all new development into the SVN branches, the 
SVN trunk is essentially release 1.10.4 with *only bug fixes* and that is what 
release 1.10.5 will be once it is released.

That makes the SVN trunk version much more stable that it was prior to when 
version 1.10.4 was released.  If you want the latest, most stable code to run, 
then the SVN trunk is a safe bet.
