My Flex 5000a sometimes starts with no audio from the Flex Powered
Speaker/Line Out jack.

I find that when I close down Flex Power SDR, turn off the radio, and
completely re-start Windows XP it will sometimes start up and run the
audio OK.

When the audio to the speakers fails I find I can hear audio by routing
VAC through to Windows XP. Then the audio comes on normally through
the computer speakers, but still not the Flex Powered Speaker/Line Out
jack. (Audio run this way has a short time delay.)

Today I spent over 45 minutes re-starting Windows XP over and over to
try to hear audio from the Speaker/Line Out jack. It continues to fail.

Every time the 5000a starts, I receive audio acknowledgment from the
computer speakers (2 doorbells) indicating the connection from the 5000a
and the computer are good.

When the computer re-starts Windows XP, and I wait a few minutes longer,
there is no indication of whether it is completely finished loading and
ready to start Power SDR. Is there at least some indicator available
that will show when Windows has successfully finished loading and it is
time to start Power SDR?
