do you use an electronicly regulated power
supply?it has been my theory thatrf has been getting to theevr on many of
the ps
this modulation effect
may well have been co modulating the rf and driver stages of the radio. most

voltage tests show a half volt drop in final voltage from 0 watts out to
full output and since the final and driver are not running class "c"
the modulation effect will not
be linear, however like the
following: the final drive will be diminished at lower voltages the converse

at highervoltages.you would be surprised at the modulation percentages
during this process.the frequency of the modulating signal willbe a3xfin or
in otherwords a
1kh zssb sig wil detect out
at a 3khz note for the modulating frequency, thus producingthe high freq
tearing sound on ssb rf. so rfi proof the ext. p.s.evr board.rf can get in
on any ungypassed cords and maybe the chassis might need to be grounded in
some capacity or another...
