With TigerDirect I always ignore the rebate and decide whether to buy on the pre-rebate price. I really think rebates (not just TigerDirects but all of them especially in the computer parts business) are a waste of time. The only computer parts company I ever get them back from is Logitech and it usually takes 6-9 months.
