Tim

I will send some screen shots when I get home of what the profile looks like to
show what I disabled and used for my "radio" profile. There will be some
unusual or extra items in mine since I do have VM installed though I am not
using it with the radio.

Don,

Do you have a working profile for AlacrityPC that shuts down services when
PowerSDR is started (or starts PowerSDR when the profile is initiated)?

If so, this would make a good KB article.

I have pulled together some links from the last couple of days regarding ways
to remove or reduce DPCs and other services and programs that tend to load the
pc down. Good information, however, the last link to alacritypc is really a
very nice program to automatically disable services and programs not needed
when running PSDR. Based on the first three links you can then disable those
services/programs not really necessary using the program in the fourth link. I
credit neal for the find on this software program - pretty slick.
