Gerald

Your company is one of a very few that:

        * Acknowledges an issue
        * Gives status of the correction
        * Provides the correction on a very timely manor at no cost.No
company's QA area will find all issues. Thank God you did not use the
Microsoft model where their customer base is their QA department

Keep up the good work!

Mario

Here is an update.

Using a logic analyzer on the I2C control bus, we have isolated that
firmware commands that are causing the problem. We are working on a
solution right now so we will keep you informed.

Thanks,
Gerald

Dear customers,

Let me confirm that there is a problem with the latest firmware upgrade.
Unfortunately, the problem did not show up with our beta testers prior to
release last week. Firmware starting with v1.2.1.x, provided significant
performance improvements on CW and reductions in overall latency. Along
with those performance improvements, it looks as though a software bug has
crept in.

We are fully focused on isolating the problem and will get out a fix as soon
as possible. As Eric stated below, we recommend that if you are having
trouble with this version, go back to the earlier version v1.2.1.10.

By the way, the alternative to this type of problem is for us to
significantly reduce the frequency of feature and performance upgrades to
the software and firmware. This is the traditional path taken by other
manufacturers. To date, we have worked under the assumption that our
customers like the frequent updates.

Thanks for your patience.

Regards,

Gerald

It is apparent that there are issues with the v1.2.2.0 firmware. For those
of you having trouble with this latest version, we would recommend going
back to the earlier v1.2.1.10 until we resolve these issues.

Thanks for your patience.
