Yes, I use DM780 running SSTV mode. The 5000a sends the audio to DM780 with VAC and the SSTV mode needs no calibration. The pictures just start popping up. If you run Ham Radio Deluxe, HRD, and connect up the CAT controls you can tune the 5000a right from DM780. DM780 talks to HRD and HRD uses CAT to talk to the 5000a.
Ted, NX6C PS, I really enjoy DM780. I communicate with many digital modes.
