A public service announcement to all Flexers,

There has been discovered a fairly serious vulnerability in Acrobat Reader that
could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary and malicious code on your
PC. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by convincing a user to
load a specially crafted Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file. Acrobat
integrates with popular web browsers, and visiting a website is usually
sufficient to cause Acrobat to load PDF content.

Although all of the PDF files found on the various FlexRadio Systems' sites are
safe, since we do use PDF files rather exclusively, I felt it would be prudent
to inform everyone of the potential problem and where to go to find the steps
you need to take to prevent the possibility of an attack.

If you do not have Adobe Reader 9 installed, upgrade to Adobe Reader version 9
before proceeding with the instructions fro securing your PC found below. Use
the following URL (http://www.adobe.com/) and select the "Get Adobe Reader"
button.

If you do have Adobe Reader 9 installed, do all of the updates before
proceeding with the instructions fro securing your PC found below. You can get
the updates by selecting "Check for Updates" from the Help option in the
program menu bar.

Use the URL below to access the US-CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team)
Bulletin on this vulnerability.

Go to section III and follow the instructions for securing your PC.
