I have found that with my SDR-1000 and my 5000A, and with any version of PowerSDR that I have used, if I click on the Title Bar of the PowerSDR window the display will freeze for a second or two. The audio continues to work though. Although this is a minor issue I hope this can be addressed some day.

My DPC's are usually about 150-160 us........I've tried Normal mode and Safe Mode 1 and 2 but no help there. I've returned to Safe Mode 1. I've tried turning off McAfee, but that didn't help. This is not a complete freeze, just a hesitation (momentary freeze) that only happens when I drag the Panadapter display......the mouse wheel gives a smooth movement of the display frequency. Machine has XP SP2, 4 Gb ram, ....and all updates locked out, zero changed to everything, but the machine (and PowerSDR) which had zero freezes now freezes and usually stops, especially upon mouse movement. DPC's never higher than 230 us...and Normal mode recommended...which freezes more so ...naturally. Had to go to safemode 2 from the factory recommended safemode 1 that I was using now to stop it. I think this issue is a recent deveopment so perhaps I've changed a setting.
