Re: D44 soundcard on VISTA - some months ago I tried my D44 with the latest drivers and was convinced that the driver was responsible for some data being lost.

At that point in time I no longer needed the D44 so gave it away to a QRP bod in the UK. I now only have a Edirol FA-66 which I use with my TS-480SAT.

You are experiencing buffer overruns. You need larger buffers (there are a lot of them at different points in the signal path) and/or a lower sampling rate for the SDR-1000
