That was a really smart thing to do.  Most folks just allow Windows Update to 
do it's thing, which at some point will be a bad thing.

The RATT results are exactly what's needed, so bravo for acquiring the tool and 
posting the results.

At first blush, the culprit appears to be your storage stack (ATAPI.SYS)... I 
assume you're running a SATA disk drive.  What can you tell us about your 
storage stack configuration, such as interface, drivers, number of disks, etc?
