I had to uncheck the TX port that I would normally use and then recheck it for the radio to key the amp. Try checking a different Tx port and then go back to the one you normally use. Now the radio will not key the amp. Have tried changing from one port to another on the radio. Also have tried a hard reset of the radio, all to no avail. The amp will key manually by shorting the center of the port to ground so this leaves the problem in the radio.Could it be a firmware problem ? Is there a way to test the keying circuit in the 5000 without sending it back to Austin ? Any help will be appreciated.
